Right after 6AM this morning, the report by Mose aired. TGN got a nice mention at the top of the report, while the rest featured some brief cuts from several audience interviews. Once the link to the radio spot goes on their website, I'll be sure ...

Thank you for your email to me and Brandi. Sorry I have been out of pocket over this past weekend and I will be for most of this week. Which is one of the reasons I approached you to see if you would be interested in overseeing the TGN NING site.

I agree that TGN and AEN need to communicate to create synergy for the goal of improving our community. Mutually linking and collaboration makes complete sense and I will have to review your insightful email to Brandi / me more in depth later this week, when I have time.

Your observations are valid and your idea to bring us together is one I personally would like to explore further. TGN is a non-profit organization whose main focus is to encourage Texas businesses to choose sustainable options when making any type of decision. AEN will most likely expand their web presences to oversee many different areas.

There are other local, state, and national green portals, directories, informational sites - private, commercial, government, educational, for profit and non-profit - all vying to create their niche. I have been keeping up with most of them and review each of them periodically. One for example is http://findgreen411.com/ - a for-profit directory that will be duplicated by AEN. There are others, but I need to get going.

BTW, on Feb.19th, there is also a meeting at Austin City Hall - Know your Regulator - http://cleantx.org/?page_id=80 --- I did not arrange the meeting at the Tx Capitol on that date, but I understand that it was the only slot we could get, as much as we would have preferred a date later in the month to have our public meeting. Lots going on regrading the green movement in Austin, so bring everyone together is the key.

Thank you for your input and for your participation to make our world a better place. Let's stay in touch.....paul.

I like what you have done with the http://awmactc.ning.com/ site and I see our collage from our December meeting at the Barr Mansion in the photo section! Nice.

Would you be interested in helping build the TGN NING site further?

Our next meeting will be at the Capitol on Feb.19th - http://www.texasgreennetwork.org/meetings.html

Glad you enjoyed the meeting at the LCRA and our open mic portion. Our goal is to bring businesses together, so they can share information that will allow them to make the right decisions for the environment, while still being profitable.

I see the RSVP from your email at UT.

Great photo of walking into the green future! Is that you and your son?

I hope we get a chance to speak this evening...if I do not find you, please introduce yourself to me. Gotta run to get ready. Thanks! - Paul Severin
